Display readout Appears if... What to do

 (Memory error)

...the EEPROM memory cannot be

read.

• Contact service technician.

... there is no communication between

the control panel and motherboard.

This appears briefly when switching on

the fixture.

• Check fuses.

• Check cable between control panel

and motherboard.

• Reinstall software.

• Contact service technician.

 (Color wheel time-out)

 (Rotating gobo time-out)

 (Fixed gobo time-out)

 (Gobo indexing time-out)

...the magnetic-indexing circuit

malfunctions (e.g. sensor defective or

magnet missing).

• After the time-out, the effect in ques-

tion stops in a random position.

• Contact service technician.



...the software doesn’t detect any

pulses from the light sensor for a

specific period of time.

• Ensure that the light sensor cable is

mounted correctly on the PL54 con-

nector. If it is, the light sensors may

be defective.



...the lamp cannot be struck.

• Replace the lamp



....there is a short circuit and the lamp

is struck without a command.

• Contact service technician.



...the temperature in the base is too

high

• Check that fans are clean and work-

ing. Clean fixture if necessary

• Check that the ambient temperature

does not exceed 40° C (104° F)

• Contact service technician if the

problem persists.

...the temperature in the head is too

high
